NEVER GIVE YOUR POWER AWAY
Never give your power away.
Delegation has cost us the strength of our being. Team work has broken the backbone of celebrities in their foetus stage of development. Not to talk of technology, this left many behind, without an ability to provide livelihood for their family.
I do believe in doing things as a team, but whenever you are privilege to lead a team or in leading your home and life into destiny, kindly learn to own the password to the vital areas to whatever it takes to succeed.
Learning this the hard way was not the best. Not to worry I learnt it very fast. As an undergraduate I organised various seminars teaching personal development strategies, self mastery, social ethics and protocol. I just knew what to say and how to get the wao moment from my audience, but never master the perfect use of Microsoft power point. I delegated it to friends who never knew the urgency of the work just a night before the major event.
The university conference hall was already set, posters and handbills with my pictures where all around campus, participants where already paying for the seminars. Here I am without a complete power point slides for my presentation. The content was very rich and voluminous; it was an intensive training of three days and minimum of six hours daily. I could not do it myself, I wrote the content on a note book for friends to help type, cut to the content on power point slide and put to appropriate design for use.
Working for about seven hours friends left me to my business of fame and knowledge without skill. With further complication from my laptop developing a screen problem I felt alone.
All thanks, there was a prompting within me never to be afraid, I got dress, getting to the conference centre three hours early in company of another friend who came with his laptop and printer to help. While speaking he was designing the next set of slides for presentation.
Never give your power away. Whatever makes your business work, be the master at it.
In IT business you may not be able to learn the programming languages or the necessary coding, but learn the process that lead to the programming and if you are given the codes can you input it appropriately? If that is not the core of your business do not mind.
In a church the power point is not in the choir or technical personnel, not to talk of sanctuary keepers or traffic and security department, although they are important, but the ability to design a system that unity the different skills and faces is the core of Church, this comes with the most essential ingredient, Spiritual connectivity- the power of God and the ministration of the word. This should not be delegated to the prayer department, neither to a bible study group.
As a mother or wife taking care of your children and honouring your husband is the core of that aspect of your life. It should not be delegated to a house maid or some care givers. To fathers or husbands providing and loving your wife and children is what you do, be a master at that too.
If everyone learns to be proficient at work the world will be a better place.

MIRACLES HAPPEN
Miracles happen every day if only we can recognise it.
Everyday around us there are opportunities presenting themselves as problems. Our ability to solve the problem leads to overwhelming abundance.
I have learnt over the years that the level of opportunity that you will ever experience is determined by your solution providing ability and response.
I have missed golden opportunities just because my response time was too slow to get the job done.
Since then I have decided to run ahead of opportunities. Miracles still happen daily.
Running ahead of opportunities is scheduling for success.
What are the opportunities that you missed in time past?
Start preparing for them like you have not lost that deal.
Design the frame work before the job comes. One thing am very sure of is that opportunities that you missed today are still running in cycles someday, soon, the same will appear to you, may be in a bigger fashion.

LEADING CHANGE
"Overhauling the way a company does business calls for new skills and new relationships throughout the company's entire ecosystem-fundamentally new ways of looking at every process and every concept. Without generous portions of the right kind of leadership, workers will react to this avalanche of change as normal human being-heading backward toward the "safety" of the way things were. You, the leader, might be a bit chary of change yourself, because change will rearrange the elements that brought you to your current eminence."
My thought is deep. How do we effectively lead change, while we live in this cloth of flesh. Know that the human nature always want to stay within a comfort zone. The constant ingredient for change in leadership is VISION.
While in deep meditation few line came to mind, through my experience and haven’t lead success of organisation to change i can relate with these, enjoy as you read.
1. Cultivate people management skill.
People are important to vision, dreams and ideas. Humans are the life-blood of systems. A work force not well guide will destroy the world class system and concept.
Remember, leaders touch a heart before they ask for a hand.
2. Inspection.
Conduct constant inspect of the processing line each minute. Keep watch on the job. People dont do what expect, they only do what you inspect.
3. Never give power your away.
I learnt this the hard way, while I organise seminars without adequate knowledge of the power point design.
You should not be a novice in whatever is the core of your assignment or work. Walk the length and breadth of the change you aspire to lead.
It’s a disaster to have a novice as a leader.
4. Train them.
Staff development is important to organisational growth. If you don’t train them don’t blame them. Develop the intelligence of your staff in the line of change your organisation desire.
5. Keep at it.
Big shoots are little shoots that kept shooting. Whatever challenge encountered on the journey to change, count it all a part of the process. Keep refining your process to achieve the goal. Our lives will only get better if we don’t give on ourselves. Keep walking.
6. Relax.
Relax. Relax. Relax. Renew your strength by taking some time out to rest, have some time with your family, staff and / or friends. Life goes round when we share the joy of life with whom we do productive work together. Imagine a world without play. Where everything you do have to be serious. Relax.

CHANGE LEVELS
Life only reaches its peak when you stop.
The peak of life in itself is determined by your ability to keep walking.
The road may not be smooth, life those not promise to be all roses, never expect to drive the road of life without bumps.
However, like the gear system in a motor car, to climb a higher height you most change gear. You need a "high push" from deep within your being to excel in the journey of life.
There no iron clad rule on how to journey in life, but there are constant gears to change level in life.
1. Joyfulness: the joyful ones rule the rest. Be happy.
2. Incubate: Keep ideas within you until they are fully developed.
3. Innovate: Be strategic at life. Be dynamic. Use technology to enhance whatever you do. Go beyond borders.
4. Associate: Be free to love and be loved.
WHATEVER LIFE BRINGS TO YOU KEEP WALKING, YOU WILL WIN.

LEARN DAILY
Human beings are made to grow. While there is a rejocing at growth, we such critically exam the down turn of growth.
Many persons who never take note of this dynamics of life cycle have the hands burnt in disgrace. No organisation wants to keep a none productive staff, though growing in age but experiencing a rapid down turn in mental alertness and strategic positioning.
Its natural for the human mental and physical make up to decay if there is no life in them. We can give life to our mortal body by learning daily and maximize the increase of age.
Age speaks wisdom when there is a constant mental growth. Read a book today. Attend that training. Practise the things you have learnt.
When you stop learning , you start dying.

LIFE
Life is good with friends and family.
When you are surrounded by people who share your views and opinions you feel so much at home. At any point when there is a disagreement not throw the baby away with the dirty water.Everyone will not always agree with you at all times. Learn to master relationships. Be calm.
Life is good with mentors.
God gave us mentor so that there can be control.There can be a mentor in a friend or collegue. Never ignore correction.
Correction is bitter, but change you must embrace.
Its bitter but the fruit is sweet.
Life is good with Jesus.
Everyone needs a covering, never live the next minute without Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life.
Life is good.

BLOSSOM: SPEAKING
Its no more news that our words create our world.
I heard of a true life story about an Israeli farmer, a man consistently notice that when he is about planting he holds the seeds in his hand and speak to the seeds (this is a very successful farmer). He approached him out of curiosity, saying what do you speaking to the seeds?
The farmer answered saying: “everything that has life in itself, for it to blossom, it needs some form of encouragement in words”.
Whatever you do today speak to your tomorrow, it will blossom. For every word spoken will attract the equivalent to you.
Speak to everything and anything that has life around you, it will blossom. If no one encourages you, kindly do the world a favour encourage yourself.
Speak to your Church. Speak to your relationship. Speak to your yet unborn children. They will blossom.
I also remember that every seed carries a genetic code, they reproduce after. Your life is a seed speak to it, it will blossom.
Anyone can practically create or recreate his / her world if he / she can dare to give some encouragement in words to his / her life.
Lock yourself up and keep speaking to your future. If you can consistently speak the right words for the next thirty days to a particular accept of your life it will blossom practically while you watch.
Always remember that everything that has life in itself, for it to blossom, needs some form of encouragement in words.

THE COUNSEL
I received a counsel a few weeks back, feel i should share with you, its not absolute but i believe it will bless you. Enjoy learning.
1. Marry right.
2. Both of you should be willing to work on your marriage.
3. Be willing to expose yourself, only to each other.
4. Never allow external influence, first resolve the issues with yourself. Let it be within both of you, if you allow external influence your spouse loose respect with the people. The people may support you but will never respect your spouse; thereby you will soon loose respect too.
5. The way you carry your spouse is the way people will respond to them. Preferable call your spouse “Nike” / pet name.
6. All give to your spouse what they will ordinarily not get outside. Like kneel down for the man. May be say thank you after sex.

SOMEDAY EVERYTHING WILL MAKE PERFECT SENSE
At certain times in our life’s we find the road slippery or face rock hard challenges, despite the investments and the things we know or can do. Is life trying to get me at something? Sometimes we wonder. What is all this about?
One of many lessons I have learnt is never to find the way in anxiety or in worry. It’s frustrating to be running in circles in a dark room with obstacles on the way out. The secret is taking your time to be calm within you, the answer will find you.
The internal guidance system works best when you are relax and focus. Joy is a key factor to achieving greatness. Learn to laugh. Be happy. Do your best, be the guy with the idea, dream big, work hard and never be lazy.
The future belongs to the hopeful.
Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now; laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.
You are not alone.

LET MERCY RULE YOUR HEART
"When you judge others, as a man who can also make mistakes, always reason along with care and judge no mans’ servant. Think good of others. What you project in your thought life towards others grows in your garden. Gratitude has recently been discovered by high achieving individuals as one of the most powerful tools for achieving dreams yet gratitude for your personal blessings cannot reverse the effect of ill willed thoughts towards others. Let mercy rule your heart."
This is my leading thought.
I do believe that little hinges swing huge doors. In my journey in life I have seen many people make mockery of a situation or a personality, or seek to take vengeance into their hands, thereby harbouring wickedness in their heart, the resultant effect is that the same happens to them. This is no excuse for wrong doing.
Guide your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the vital keys of life. Whatever you allow into the cultivation of your heart will germinate and rule your life.
Fight for your heart. Fight that fight, it’s a good fight. Am fighting certain things right now, never to allow it take root in my heart, less the good ground of my heart, be corrupted.
There are three gate ways to your heart.
1. Eye gate: what are you allowing into your life through your eyes? Censor what you view on T.V. Pictures have a high retaining capacity in human heart. Never allow any vain thought dominate your life. Thinking well of all men.

LIFE IS RICHER
I try to end this article with life is richer, because life is richer when you know what to do.Enjoy this.
Life is a journey. In reality life has been completely misunderstood.
The reason for the breath of life within us is for a purpose: a specific assignment to be achieved per time.
Life is a journey of assignments. It’s not party time until its mission accomplished.
The discovery of purpose is the beginning of the journey. Learn to discover your purpose. At every stage of life there will be different assignment to pursue, never mistake a bend for a bus stop. Relationship Lessons from the SCHOOL OF HARDKNOCKS.PART II
8. Be your dream spouse.
Water will find its level. You attract value to the worth of your personality. If you want to marry a queen, are you a king? Each person marries who he or she deserves.
9. Never ignore relationship danger signs.
God will reveal to you in style and phase certain reasons not to marry a particular person, dont ignore them. It may cost your life and others.
10. Incubate.
Dont tell it all to friends in the immediate when love find you. Allow the passion of love grow strong between the two before letting the steam out. Only God knows who is your friend.
11. Strike when the iron is HOT.
Say it now! I learnt this the hard way. When there is a strong build up of chemistry between two, and your total being agrees, (a deep seated witness) wait no more.Say it now!
12. Be sincere.
Answer the brutal question. Do I want this? What do you want?
Get a vision of the person you want to get married to / spend your destiny with. Dont be high minded,but never cut yourself short. Dont cut short your like and dislike they are innate and God given.
Dont ever say : “we are going into an unknown future”. Never! After all that you know. Oh , sorry may be you know nothing. You should have a glimpse of the future if not a clear picture before you take someone along, especially for men. The most disasterous moment of a visionary is when the spouse cant believe in him. Make sure your spouse believes in your vision.

Relationship Lessons from the SCHOOL OF HARDKNOCKS I.
Its Valentines day, glossing through my note , i thought a love message will make the day, so i have choosen some persnal lessons that will be a blessing to all. Remember, little hinges swing huge doors.Enjoy the secrets.
Relationship tips that I learnt in a hardway.
1. Never listen to what you dont intend to practise.
Especially emotionally crazy stuffs, they have a way of setting your emotion on fire.
Words when wrongly processed always corrrupt everyother thing in the production line of the mind. Your mind is your processing chamber of life and death.
2. Dont say it when you dont mean it.
Your tongue is fire. Use it wisely.
3. Be careful not to build your future on a strong emotional rush, that is temporal, untested by time or principles.
Time has a way of revealing the truth. Time is a custodian of detail. When love is without principles, its like a gun in the hands of a toddler. When love is allowed to mature in the womb of time and principle, its like the painting brush in the hands of Micheal Angelo, a master piece will soon evolve.
4. S.P.A.C.E. give her space. That you are all over her dosent give you the ticket to marry her. Things that are scares have a way of been treasured. But be consistent.
5. Label your relationship.

Attitudes of the ultimate gunners
Born out of my love for the prestigious football club Arsenal FC, I made a speech sometime ago, (2006). I tried expressing key lessons to becoming “the ultimate” personality anyone could desire. I hope you will love it.
Attitude #1: Establish your goal post.
No one scores a goal without a goal post.
What will you call success when it happens? Write it down. The road to success should not be that of a wishful journey. Be deliberate. Learning to live life deliberately had helped increase my capacity for greatness. Your capacity to handle issues in life determines if you are ready for another level of greatness or not.
To establish your goal post, certain things has to be set:
a. SMART: be sPECFIC . let your goals be mEASURABLE. Make it aCHIEVABLE.be rEALIsTIC.
b. Be well schooled in your area of choice. Never make uninformed choice.
c. Be proactive: be the first to do..... ideas have shelf life.
Attitude# 2: Play your GAME.
What you do with the ball determine what happen to the score board.
Never allow distraction in any form. You might meet obstacles, keep moving anyways.
Only growing people meet obstacles. If you are not growing anyhow taller, you don’t have a problem with the door post.
Attitude #3: Don’t just keep records, keep details. Detailed people have a way of turning out great in life.
Attitude 4: Be ready to learn.
When the student is ready the teacher will appear. Learning is living. If you are not learning you are not living.
Build your leadership skill, every other thing is founded on it. Build an irresistible personality.
Continuous and never ending improvement should be your watch word daily. It’s the stirring rod of great achievement.
Always remember that, EXCELLENCE HAS NO FINISH LINE.

VITAL LESSONS PART 3 : IN SEARCH OF SUCCESS
Lesson #3: Define what success is to you.
What is success?
What do you want from life?
If you get what you want. Will you want what you get?
We should be able to answer the vital questions of life. Life in itself is full of questions, those that cannot provide adequate answers get cut up in misfortune and failure in life.
Each one should be able to determine what success is to him or her at every point in time.
The definition of success may change with time and season in our lives.
For boy of age 5, to him success may be to have so more toys to play with and more parties to attend. At age ten the definition of success changes, it may be to pass the “common entrance” examination. When he becomes an undergraduate, attaining good grade in school and getting a well paying job in a blue chip company may be success.
At marriage success is spelled differently. Definitely at old age success is much more than the regular.
It’s time to find what success is to you, and then pursue it.

VITAL LESSONS PART 2 : IN SEARCH OF SUCCESS
In search of Success
Lesson #1: Success is never out of convenience.
Success is in the extra-mile.
It may not seem to be easy. Learn to enjoy the process, while you wait patiently for the end result. In success the mean justifies the end.
The moment a door closes, reach out for another. Dig more wells than your enemies can fill. Always seek to break your own record daily.
If you cannot stretch, you cannot succeed. That’s hard, but true.
Be a law to yourself. Be diligent. Been diligent is becoming a law to yourself without an external force compelling you.
Be ready at all time to sow your seed. What can you do? Learn to do them even if it’s not convenient.
The lazy can’t win in the race of life. When you notice those tendencies in your life, don’t wait for someone to call your attention to it, beat yourself to shape.
The lazy don’t win in the race of life. If you are sloppy or drags, the race is not for you either, get back to shape, less the game be over without you winning.
Never be too slow or too fast. Success and life is a game of time and season, the trophy goes to the most strategic team player. You are that team player.
Lesson #2: Think the good life
A. Change your thought pattern. Harmonise your thought with the thought of God for your life. The supreme one, your creator, thinks the best of you, why think less.
Thinking is exploring your mental ability to maximize your God given potential. Thinking is a discipline. Make good thinking your profession. Make it a career. Make it your priority. Doing anything without good thinking is having a concert before turning on the instrument.
“Where success is concerned, people are not measured in inches or pounds, or college degrees, or family backyard; they are measured by the size of their thinking” -DAVID SCHWARTZ.
How to become a good thinker.
1. Expose yourself to good input.
Read books, review magazines, listen to tapes, and spend time with good thinkers. Put your thought in writing and keep it somewhere in your favourite thinking place to stimulate your thinking.
2. Expose yourself to good thinkers.
Spend time with the right people. If you want to be a sharp thinker, be around sharp people, observe and learn from them.
“The one who associates with the wise grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm”. Proverbs
3. Choose to think good thoughts.
No matter what you choose to do, go to your thinking place, take paper and pen, make sure you capture your ideas in writing.
4. Act on your good thoughts.
Ideas have shelf life.
You must act on them before the expiration date. Think things through- then follow through.” –Eddie Rickenbacker.
The mind is like a satellite receiver a lot of people picked the idea like you did. Act first, be the first to do.
5. Allow your emotions to create another good thought.
6. Repeat the process.

1. Learn continually
Big thinkers are never comfortable with what they already know. Read a new book. Attend that seminar. Never be comfortable with the usual.
2. Listen intentionally
When you meet with great minds ask questions and listen intentionally. Listen for the things that were not spoken in words. When you meet with people, it’s good to have an agenda so that you can learn.
3. Look expansively: .... who you are is what you see.
4. Live completely: live your thoughts.
B. Live a balance life. Balance may not be achieved at the midpoint of every object, it may tilt to the side a little or far away for another. There are no iron clad rules in life, but always be sure you are correct, and you can be correct.

Vital lessonsPart 1: leadership and life .
Vital lessons.
In the last fifteen years of my life I have commented to personal development. My notes are full, I probably cannot remember who thought me or where I read what, but I can tell I have learnt from the best ever lived. I hope to bring to bear some of the lessons I was able to pen down from learning and my speech over the years. These may not be all and exhaustive, but I will try to put them in bullet point. Enjoy the ride.
LEADERSHIP
• Good leadership do not just build their personal credibility, they build the organisations leadership capacity or the capacity of the organisation to sustain future leaders.
• Studies of leadership began with a simple premise: leaders must deliver results.
• Leadership must develop a logical framework for making intangibles tangible in manner that increases confidence in the future.
• Leaders are dealer in hope.
• Never spend the money you don’t have to buy what you don’t need to impress people you don’t like.
• What you don’t have you can’t give. When a leader read a book the organisation has benefited from its content. When a leader is ignorant the organisation suffers. You must always and constantly by going and exploring new territory.
• Managers maintain leaders innovate. Managers keep status co, leaders create a new future. You can’t lead people where you’ve not been. Where have you been? VISION!
Four Pillars of leadership.
1. Purpose: What I was created for.
2. Conviction: Great leaders have conviction of purpose.
3. Passion: Passion makes the alarm clock irrelevant.
4. Inspiration: If you can’t inspire you manipulate, when you manipulate you are not a leader.

RELATIONSHIP
• “The act of been wise is knowing what to overlook” –William Jane
Operate the law of planned neglect. Learn to forgive. Forgiveness should never be with a price, give it freely. If you are able to forgive enough you will make more friends than enemies. Never hold people down in un-forgiveness, you will not be up too.
To build good relationships you must:
1. Understand people
2. Love people
3. Help people
Too many people are ready to assert their right than to assume their responsibility.
TEN relationship watch outs.
1. Never think you don’t have to build relationship.
2. Never think selfish and distrustful of others.
3. Never grow numb to positive attitude.
4. Never belittle people.
5. Always see reason to help others.
6. Always want to build Gods kingdom not yours.
7. Be responsible. Don’t fix blame fix the problem.
8. Never jump to conclusion on any matter, listen to everyone.
9. Give relevant response. When you don’t know what to say or do, keep quiet.
10. Be progressive: don’t think life should freeze.
